 Woodstown Residential & Activity Centre provides high quality and affordable residential facilities for groups and organizations working with young people mainly from Waterford City, County and South Tipperary . The Centre itself is situated on the beachfront approximately seven miles from Waterford City , which makes it an ideal venue. It offers privacy and is sufficiently far away from other areas to avoid usual commercial distractions.
The centre has accommodation for thirty-two persons, which is divided into two dormitories. Waterford Regional Youth Service runs the centre on a self-catering basis.
Groups are responsible for supervision and leaving the centre clean and tidy on their departure. Woodstown Residential & Activity Centre is non-profit making and all proceeds from hire of the building are used to maintain and further develop the Centre.

Mr. Jim Byrne at the Waterford Regional Youth Service office, Edmund Rice Youth and Community Centre, Manor Street , Waterford , handles all bookings for the Centre. Tel: (051) 872710. Groups interested should complete a booking form indicating the preferred dates, returned and accompanied by a booking deposit of €80.00 to the address above.
The booking is not definite until you receive conformation by return post or by telephone. Bookings should be made as early as possible to avoid disappointment, as the demand for bookings is very high.
